San Donato Val di Comino offers many opportunities to spend pleasant ecological days among woods and valleys. Besides many excursions in the National Park for discovering many natural paths of the Park, you can go also for a long, suggestive walk around the deep valley of Forca d’Acero, for nature mountain biking and trekking along paths and trips cycling at the Verroniane thermal baths.
Il Cedrone advices you to start with the historical-cultural trails in the old town centre and visit the Geological Museum and the Culture’s Environment Centre that is situated in the area of a sixteenth century’s monastery of Franciscans.
